Our Club
Tribellius MMA/Grappling club was founded in June 2018 as a place for coaching and supporting participants to develop their combat skills, as well as physical and mental abilities.
Named after the ancient Bulgarian Warrior King – Saint King Tribellius, our honorable club is a product of an extensive combat experience in and knowledge of various martial arts (SAMBO, Boxing, Wrestling and Karate). Tribellius was developed with dedicated work (in coaching, creativity and management), with devotion and Love. Love towards each other, the sport, the righteousness, the hardship during training sessions - all of which create strong, pure and noble relationships among virtuous persons. Last but not least, Love towards the apparent results (visible by the coach and experienced by the fighter) which is based on a proper teaching of the combat sport, and eagerness to learn and develop.

Our Instructor

Tribellius' main instructor is Levter Davidkov, a man with more than 27 years of experience in combat sports and more than 8 years of experience as a coach. He comes from a Bulgarian family with broad background in Karate and sport in general.
​
Levter started his sport career at an early age, competing in various national competitions: he won two GOLD medals in the 2003 SAMBO and in the 2009 Combat-SAMBO championships of Bulgaria; he was also three-time SILVER champion in 2001 and 2002 Bulgarian SAMBO championship and in 2004 JUDO team championship. In his teenage and student years, he built solid professional experience working as a bouncer and a private security guard. In 2013, he came to the Netherlands (Maastricht) to obtain his second Master's degree in Law.

In the present times, Levter does not compete, but finds satisfaction in passing his knowledge and experience to his students. He believes that love, patience, understanding and persistence are the pillars in the relationship between his students and himself.
